Read me

Hello

Thank you for being here. This is a collaborative project between myself (Julia de Rosenwerth), Thulani Chauke and Josman P, which forms part of my final MA project for year one at the Rhodes University’s Drama Department.

Below you’ll see five constellations of multi-media materials. Feel free to explore each in your own time. You might experience buffering on videos, so taking your time will definitely help with that!

In each constellation/set you’ll see various combinations of video, sound, images, drawings and text. Videos and sound can be played simultaneously. Images can be viewed while video and sound are being played. Sound and video can be played in one set while you view another set. Materials can also be viewed individually. There is no specific order in which to play the materials. It’s really up to you.

You’ll also see a form at the bottom of each constellation that you are more than welcome to use. These are designed for me to receive any feedback or response you have to the set, or the project as a whole. Your responses can be creative, or simply explanations of what you felt/ thought/ how you approached the set and so on. They are optional, but I would love to hear your thoughts.

If you’d like to find out more about us and the project as a whole, please scroll down to the bottom of the page. I hope you enjoy playing in this virtual space we’ve created!
